Further adventures

Saturday:
Left Cobhwhere we stayed in a little B&B owned by a couple of younf Mums who were just delightful, and made us very welcome.

Cobh used to be called Queenstown, which was the last port of call for the Titanic, where 123 people boarded. We left there and headed to Cork and once again got lost in the City (John does cope with the city driving). Next stop was Blarney, where we climbed to the top of the Castle and kissed the Blsrney "(now we can basically talk bullshit!). Next stop Bantry, where we stayed at a Country B&B. The afternoon was extremely wet and cold.

This morning left Bantry and headed to the very South Western point of Ireland ( very interesting driving on extremely narrow roads). John thinks he is a rally driver! Thank god for Navman, not too many divorces!

For the next two nights we have booked into a gorgeous Hotel on the lake in the National Park just out of Kilarney. Thought we needed a bit of space to unpack and relax. B&B's great, but very small.

Weather today as been lovely, around 20 degrees. Plan tomorrow is to do The Ring of Kerry.

Enjoying different food and of course lots of wine! Christened your umbrella Marion, worked well in the rain yesterday.

Thanks Shaaron & Ken for your message, you should be here with us. Thanks Sammy too for your message, we missing you all very much too. Brydie, dont worry, lollies are on our plan.

We missed seeng the All Blacks/Irish game as it was early morning here, but Ab's did well! We haven't had any comments from the Irish here , dont think they think much of their team, more into the soccer.

We are both having a wonderful time, and just love Ireland and the people. Will blog again ASAP.
