NEWSFLASH from Apollo Bay - Would you "Adam & Eve it". Only 30 days in Australia and bumped into people from Jersey, Paul & Yvonne Berghouse. I used to play rugby with Paul 30 years ago. He's one of Jersey's original Australian Beach Guards and was back home in Oz for three weeks and he's got a "bigger one than me" - Camper Van that is. They were travelling from Adelaide to Melbourne in a great big 7m, 6 berth camper van and stopped for coffee in Apollo Bay as we were walking along the street. It was good to get some local gossip and chat about the Rugby.
I wonder how long it will take to meet up with other people we know from back home?
