Today we got up and toured around Kununurra. As we drove through town, we ran into some friends , Pete and Jo, and there girls, Summer and Ciara who we first met in the cape range national park. So we all decided to hang out for the day. We had lunch at the Zebra rock gallery where the kids fed the fish whilst Shannon and Jo browsed the shop. We then went to Mirima National park where it is claimed to be a mini bungle bungles. It had a nice lookout out over Kununurra but not quite the bungles!! Kelly's knob lookout was next which also had a nice view. We then went back to the caravan park and we had our first home cooked roast dinner. Ahhhh, It was just like being back home but 15 degrees warmer.... It was a nice relaxing day spent with good company.
Burty's useless fact: Kununurra is home to the"Estrildid Finches"
