So this is the end of one journey & the beginning of another. I could probably write a book about all the experiences we've had & the people we've met along the way. But I won't!
I'll content myself by thanking Philip for his excellent mapping & loyal companionship & by saluting him for his strength in overcoming feet & knee problems. He's been a good friend to me as well as a brother.
While I'm thanking I'd like to thank the team back home in Preston for quietly (!) getting on with things in my absence. Also Caroline & Michael for keeping this blog going.
Also all of you good friends who have contributed to the message board - especially Barbara with her alternative blog.
