Thursday 17th July 2014

Well we made an early start today, the sun is just starting to rise, we have a really big hop today, we are trying to get to Escape River, I so would like to know what was going through these guys heads when they named these places, seriously some of the names of these places are crazy.
But this one has me a bit concerned, what were they escaping from? I sure hope it was nothing major.

We got the anchor up with not too many hassles at all today although it's was blowing a strong wind, The Captain only had to pull up the last little bit.

Talk about wind, man it blowed last night and when the tide was coming in we rocked and rolled all over the place, this ended in a very disturbed sleep for both of us, so watch out ocean you have two grumpy soles on you today.

Yesterday morning when we were about to leave Portland Rhodes I think I may have seen our first croc.
Am not a hundred percent sure but it sure looked like a log in the water than it swirled and disappeared under water.
And wait for it? after months of no fishing action, I finally got a bit yesterday, this was a small Shark, I watched him come to my line at least three times, take a little bite enough for the rod to start singing but eventually he gave up on it, yeah I know I never landed anything but this is the closest I have had to anything taking an interest.
Than I pull in my other line and it's been bitten right through, all that was left was half my lure, so there is defiantly something out there.

Maybe today will be my lucky day I just want to catch something big I don't care if we can eat it at all, just catch it.

Well tomorrow is another day.
