Day 12

10pm

871nm to go.

Well we finally have the Trade Winds, yeap we have around 15 to 20knts of wind.
Actually today is the first time since arriving in Darwin all those weeks ago, that there has been clouds in the sky.
Serious the whole time we were there we never once saw a cloud it was very strange.

The wind hit us this afternoon, and man are we bouncing around the place.
I just know I'm going to be bitching about this  all the time, so be prepared...haha
At least we are not bored, as we are too busy trying to hang on and not get thrown from one side of the boat to the other.

Actually this morning I gave myself a little pampering, I had a foot soak, ( none of these fancy foot baths, just a plain old bucket of water) but hey it still felt nice, than on it went, I coloured my hair, gave myself a facial and just enjoyed all the girly things.

I wrote and sent off some emails, and wore myself out apparently, it was around 11am, and I decided to have a lay down, and man did I sleep, I awoke and had no idea what was going on, I look over at The Captain and ask what time is it, it was 6.05pm, man I slept the day away crazy stuff, I guess I needed it.

I never sleep that soundly The Captain said that several times he checked to see if I was still breathing....haha am glad someone is looking after me.

Talking about The Captain he was busy all morning, fixing up a thing on the bow sprit ( pointy end of the boat ) there is a ring that we hook the Rabbit Sail to, and it had almost broken off, so with tools, steel cables, and stuff he went to work all the time sitting on the very end of the boat, legs dangling over, man he stressed me out, and yes I did keep a close watch on him, even if I was pampering myself, most was done up here in the cockpit with him in full sight.

So as Murphy's  law happens, he gets it all fixed and now we don't need to use The Rabbit.,,,haha.

Well tomorrow is another day.
