Tuesday 23rd September 2014

Well all the ARC Rally boats are here, about 22 in total, so our little bit of Paradise is completely overrun at the moment.
But it has been very quiet as the wind is so strong no one is leaving their boats much.

I have managed to give the Cockpit a really good clean and washed the cushion covers, it's all sparkling now.
I have also managed to brave the wind and started doing some much needed oiling of the teak.

The Captain has been busy doing all the odd jobs here and their and the list is getting down.

There was a bit of a drama this morning when a guy who was kite surfing disappeared,
Why he was doing it in such strong winds I have no idea, there was a search party out looking for him.
We were all asked to keep an eye out, as by now he was most likely in the water somewhere.
We were all listening to the police radio and the calls going back and forth and with luck he was found safe and well on a beach on another island near us.
So drama over, we settle back into our own lives again.

Oh and another drama yours truly is sporting a black eye, with a cut on my eyebrow.
Yeap it was the door knob, not The Captain...haha

Late last night in the dark. I dropped a bottle in our cabin and bent down to pick it up and smacked straight into my beautiful crystal door knob.
Talk about pirate language it was running thick and fast, and so was the blood, panic pants here had visions of stitches and all, but after we cleaned it up and stopped the bleeding it seems like all is ok, but it sure is hurting.
Even if I do look like I have been beaten up, a pair of sunglasses hides it well.

Well tomorrow is another day.
