Day 6

1231nm to go

It seems like this ocean is never going to settle down completely, although it is a bit better as each day goes by.

But I have to say the Indian Ocean sucks big time, give me the Pacific any day.

It's just a angry ocean, with massive waves we have had anything from 2meter high to way over 4 meters, they have no idea what direction they want to go, so you just get slammed from all different directions, they really are all over the place.

Winds blowing anywhere from down to 5knts, to up to 45knts some times a bit more, but we seem to settle around 30knts which is still way too strong.

And squalls as the boaty name for them are, me they are massive storms, we live in fear of these guys and try to out run them or change direction when we see them come onto the radar.
Which is almost all the time, not only do they bring huge winds, but buckets of rain as well.
And and it's a dirty ocean, now I'm not saying it's full of rubbish, but every time you look out its nothing to see rubbish floating past, it's just one piece here or there but it's terrible to see.

We actually have been having very deep discussions about selling this boat soonish and getting a Cat, The Captain is trying to convince me it's a good idea, as they are more stable in the water, me I'm thinking a little place in the country sounds so much better...haha

Well tomorrow is another day.
