Day 12

511nm to go

Is any thing different with the seas? Not really still the same, rolly a bit rough but all in all not too bad.

We have been seeing a lot of boats tonight, we have seen three so far, none have come more than 3nm to us which is good, we think they are fishing boats but not real sure.

There signal on the radar is really strange and they don't really give a proper signal until they are about 7nm away, which is a bit of a worry as we often have to turn the radar alarm off, for clouds and stuff and if you happen to forget to turn it back on again and it's turned off, it could almost be on top of you before you know it.

It sure keeps us on our heels as we have to keep looking around a lot more.
But nighttime is not so bad as you can spot the lights a fair way away, they have really bright lights and a lot of them, which is also a concern because their night vision would be shot to pieces, and no way would they be able to see us.

My hand is a little better today, I've been trying to take Ibuprofen every four hours today and I think it's helping.

And the fishing nada, nope nothing, it sucks I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I have not caught anything for ages, and it does not help when you get emails from Sikkim the yacht behind us, they are catching heaps of Tuna, I sure am going to have a very long chat with them when we get to Rodrigues.
Oh and we got an email from Andros they have made it safe and sound to Ridrigues, which is nice.

Well tomorrow is another day.
