Day 16

Well hello Durban, South Africa. Yes we have made it. After 1713nm we are here safe.

Was it as bad a trip as they all have been telling us? No but we did have our moments of sheer terror, we had the worst storm ever, the 2nd storm was also bad, we had rain like you would not believe, gale force wind, no wind, very uncomfortable seas, and twice dead calm seas.
I was seasick on and off, threw up only twice this time, so that's an improvement.
We caught zero fish, although we had a lot of fish taking interest in my lures and decided they needed new lip piercings, I caught a bird for the first time, and the highlight of the whole trip was seeing A humpback whale up close.

The one thing we both agree on we will never sail the Indian Ocean again, once we get away from here that is.

It's the most shocking ocean we have ever been on, it's always all over the place you can never predict what it's going to do next, each day is anyone's guess, and it's a wild ocean not easy sailing at all.

But hey we are here, and yes we are a little bit excited, after all The Captain is back in his home land, and we feel a little bit proud of ourselves we survived the Indian Ocean, sometimes only just but we made it.

Well tomorrow is another day.
