Saturday 6th December 2014

Well today was a bit exciting, they were having a Christmas party/ luncheon at the local yacht club, and Durban Symphony orchestra was playing. We all even had to pre book tickets.

Now this is a big thing for us yachties, we never get dressed up, so there was a flurry of activity, some even had hair cuts, the dress was smart casual, now the big problem was finding some clothes, that were good enough, and had no holes or stains.
I think we both did ok, and I even managed to hunt out a pair of heals, yeap the first time in years I have worn heals.

It's amazing how good they all looked dressed in their finest, some I almost didn't recognise....haha
It was a really lovely time we laughed we had a lovely meal and the orchestra was brilliant, they played all the traditional Christmas Carols and some we had never heard.

When all was over I walked down to our boat, to grab our computers to surf the net up here for awhile, and yeap my shoes were off the moment I walked out of the club.

I get back to the boat get changed into more relaxing clothes, gather up all the computers and I can't get off the boat, it was too far away from the dock, well I take one look at this, and then just decided to have a nana nap instead.

A lot of hours later I wake up and The Captain is sound asleep beside me...haha we just can not handle drinking in the middle of the day, or maybe we are just starting to get old.

As it happened another friend of The Captain, Linda and Ken, had come down to visit us several times throughout the day, and thought she had missed us once again, but she noticed me moving around in the galley and came back, once again we had a lovely catchup.

Well tomorrow is another day.
