Unfortuantely time restricts what I can do on the east coast so after seeking advice from people who had been to oz recently, i made some plans and got the night bus to Byron Bay. It`s meant to be a really cool place with a great beach. I wouldn`t know though because after i walked into town it started throwing it down and I took shelter in a pub waiting for the rain to stop. 5 hours later it hadn`t so i got a bus back to the hostel, which i was leaving the next morning, so I didn`t get to see Byron properly.
I headed to Brisbane which wasn`t a great place and I`m glad i was only there a night. The main street was pretty cool but there wasn`t much else to see or do. Next day i headed up to Hervey Bay,which is a departure point for Fraser Island.
