Day 3

Saturday  5th December 2015

9am position 24°08'S 10°07'E

And Yeap its morning and a very grey one at the, it's very overcast, we don't have much wind, around 8kts and our speed is about 4kts.

I'm a bit grumpy and tired at the moment even though I only woke up around an hour ago, but I did not have a good sleep, it was rough the ocean that is and we bounced around all over the place, I did eventually fall asleep but not long enough.

We are both feeling a bit like this, The Captain more so yesterday, with the worry of all the breakdowns, and Yeap we have another problem, we have oil leaking from the steering housing, not sure why or how, like most things on this boat, but we are just keeping an eye on it as well.

But I think it's also we rush so much for about 4 days before we leave for a crossing, than the first few days out we are still riding on nervous energy and then it hits like a ton of bricks.

I know it will take us a few days to settle in and them we should be right once again.

10pm

On my watch and have been for awhile, what's happening not much the wind has picked up a lot and it's been a bit of a wild ride, I have had to change coarse several times just to settle us down some.

We have not seen any ships for days or anything else for that matter, not even a bird.

We did have something pop up on the radar several times, but have not been able to work out what it was, we put it down to most likely a whale, and we sure are in deep water around 4800 meters although the depth sounder is saying 13.9 meters Yeap something big has swam under us again.

Well tomorrow is another day.
