Well the stars are out thank god, what a shocking 48 hours we have had.

We have been hammered by storms constantly, and rain like you would not believe.
No sooner had one storm passed than another would be building up on the radar.

At least this time we only had two that were scary the rest just painful.
But the rain was shocking everything was wet, and when I say everything I really mean everything.

The cockpit was just about floating in water, our bed was wet, so no matter where you layed you got wet.
We had serious leaks coming in everywhere there was just no stopping it, we had as many towels as we have trying to stop the leaks as much as possible but nothing was stopping it coming in.

Our cabin sprung a new leak this time over the hatch, so it's all wet.
The spare bunk was just floating, the saloon was leaking and the galley was not spared either as water was running down the mast and over everything.

It was shocking and with neither of us getting much sleep it was very bleak.
Sometime this morning I braved the rain and went and tied a cover over the back of the hatch in the cockpit and so far we have not had real heavy rain since so I'm not sure if it's worked yet.

But late this afternoon we saw some blue sky not a lot but there was some I managed to get all the towels hung up out side and we dried off the mattress, so at least we can sleep in a dry bed tonight.
The rest of the boat we will try and dry out within the next couple of days.

And at the moment as I said before we have just had one small squall come through and now the stars are out and the radar is clear of clouds for a bit, I hope.
There is also two ships on the radar one is getting quite close so I best be going and attend to it.

Well tomorrow is another day.
