Got up bright and early because we had a lunch date with my cousin in Debary Florida. I hadn't seen my cousin in 16 years so this was gonna be special, plus my aunt would be there too!! It's a 3 1/2 drive from Savannah to Debary. The drive went smoothly and we pulled in on her driveway around 11:30. Garrett, her son jumped into our arms as soon as he answered the door. Wow what a fantastic welcome. We were greeting very warmly and had a wonderful lunch. Chit chatted with my aunt, then with Mickenzie , she's 16 , a very good softball player, and my cousin Toni. Mickenzie and I went outback to hit a few balls while Peter played guitar in the house. Garrett is a sweet boy who's really into Pokemon Go and video games. After a 2 1/2 stay we said our goodbyes as they had commitments in the afternoon. What a special detour this was.....off to Port Charlotte, our home for 2 weeks.
