Day 29-June 17, 2017-To Tennessee
Drove south on I-75 for 210 miles in 3-1/2 hours.
Hot and humid today-up to 90.
Pretty scenery through the mountains. And not much traffic through Knoxville. Finishe d the book on tape-it was as Jonathan Kellerman murder “who done it” an neither one of us figured it out. Stopped at a nice KOA (they’re always nice) just for one night, then off again tomorrow. Heard music coming from the pavilion so we took a walk down only to find out it was karaoke , terrible karaoke. So we kept on walking. This looks like a campground where there are a lot of seasonal campers who know each other, a lot of groups of people are sitting together or talking. It’s father’s day week-end so a lot of families are here. Plenty of playgrounds and activities for the kids. We saw a group of them on a hayride while we had dinner, there’s a volleyball game going on and the pool is crowded. We sat outside for a while and read, it’s a beautiful night.
