​Another great day in the Fourens foray abroad. Och aye! Okay don't mention the footy I acknowledge the Cats were kitty litter and the Tigers were wild and on the roar. Just as well I'm over here distracted from my despair. Thankfully we've had wonderful day exploring beautiful Edinburgh as you may gather from our pictures. The 287 step climb up the Sir Walter Scott tower monument was well worth it and the views were sensational. We met a pleasant Polish chap who was just waiting for customers to produce his candyfloss balls which the girls enjoyed. We then met a nice couple from Austen Texas as we had afternoon refreshments. Enjoyed dinner at a cosy pub and I had Chicken highlander which included a generous serving of haggis - delicious and authentic. I reckon the Scots would adopt me in a heartbeat đŸ˜‚
