The restaurant is located at 1206 West 38th Street and the hours of operations are from Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 A.M to 10:00 P.M, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 A.M to 11:00 P.M, they serve their lunch specials until 2:30 P.M and Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 A.M to 2:30 P.M The restaurant has a very festive look to it with its red colors and bright lights hanging on the walls, but since it is a pretty big cantina it will be fun for children as well.On my visit, I was fortunate to catch the happy hour/late-night-bites, menu and ordered from the chef's grill. I stuck with the tacos. They were not only environmentally-conscious, local-ingredient-filled, but more so, delicious. I know my tacos. I had two slow cooker mexican chicken and one chef's choice of meat, which happened to be pork. I loved the idea of locally farmed ingredients, and surprise me with choice of meat option. The flavor did not disappoint. There are various mexican meals you can eat and even a few american meals for the kids-etc. A lot of people go for the All-you can eat beef or chicken meal for a little more than $10 -It's a good deal. One of the unique things is also raising that little table flag to get your server's attention say-if you'd like another beef or taco chicken or enchilada. And don't forget the sopaipillas! The bulk of the recipes I planned to use were ones that would incorporate the use of my slow cooker chicken taco, used natural ingredients, and where the initial recipe would make one meal today and morph into an entirely different recipe tomorrow. I planned a month's worth of meals and then shopped for a week's worth of ingredients at a time. The meals were made up of vegetables, meats, poultry, and common pantry items.Try the Cubano sandwich with ham, pork, Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard or the roast pork dinner for a filling meal. The mango shake is chicken tacos enchilada sauce not to be missed.
