Today we had a bit of a sleep in as both of us were up through the night. After breakfast we decided to go into town for a look around. Jasper is a really pretty little town & although it was a very crisp morning, ( 5 deg ) it was sunny & just beautiful to wander around the quaint little shops.
I think Jasper is our favourite so far.
After lunch we walked back to the hotel which wasn't too far but but now the weather had warmed up & we were quite hot. The sun that we were so happy to bask in just a few short hours ago was sending us in search of some shade.
We had booked a nature walk down the Maligne Canyon . It was a guided walk with a very knowledgeable young lady who showed us some amazing sights. The walk went for just under 3 kms & was mostly down hill. It was quite spectacular & amazing how cold it got the lower we went into the canyon.
Another great day with so much to see in this beautiful country.
