As those of you who follow this column with any regularity know, we are huge fans of Tia's Bakery, whose products were first listed locally at Scottsdale and Paradise Valley branches of Whole Foods Market in June of last year. They've been gaining popularity both locally and nationally ever since and we're thrilled to report that they are now available at the Gluten Free Country Store in Gilbert as well.A slow cooker crock pot desserts consists of a heating element (usually with variable heat settings) and a heavy ceramic pot sometimes referred to as a crockpot. They are available in sizes suitable for singles, couples or families. The Hinari HSC008 has a 1.5 litre capacity while Cuisinart produce the 6.5 litre CSC650u.The brunch menu at W A Frost & Company comes with many options including their entrees like the toasted banana-coconut bread, side orders like Fischer farms maple coil sausage, desserts with items such as the gooey caramel tartlet, many desserts such as the mini trio plate, and many more items. The brunch menu also includes a chef's tasting menu and for $24 you get a selected list of foods that make up the starter course, entree course, cheese course, and dessert.Keep a healthy perspective. Avoid labeling your student as slow cooker creme brulee a result of testing. Kids are constantly changing and growing (yes this includes the brain which doesn't fully mature till the age of 25!) Give them a chance to grow into themselves.This is a restaurant for families. However, I have to say that it would be one of my first choices for dining at the MGM Grand. Why? Well, it's a chain restaurant and has locations other places. The food has always been top notch at every Rain Forest Cafe' I have visited. I haven't had a meal yet that I was disappointed with. The prices are reasonable. This restaurant has some of the best prices at the MGM Grand. You can get a meal for about $25 plus beverage and tip, a little more if you order appetizers and dessert. The menu selection is diverse with steaks, seafood, pasta and anything else you can imagine. My favorite is the ribs and the coconut shrimp. They have a volcano dessert made of brownies, ice cream and hot fugde that can be shared by the whole family it's so huge!Overall the French Laundry is an excellent choice for creme brulee almonds starbucks, lunch, or dinner. If you are bringing a date then be prepared to shell out at least $75 for two people. It may seem a bit steep, but it's definitely worth it. As one of the best restaurants in the Flint and Genesee County area, it's definitely worth a try if you haven't been out yet.
