the weather has been so much better, and, who knows, the blossom might even come out soon....most years its all done and dusted by this late date...ie, almost in may, but this year it has yet to appear at all. the trees are budding, the sun is out...but, fuck me dead, its so cold. the wind is blowing right down off the arctic, so its sunglasses, winter boots and icelandic knitwear here right now. i have decided that when bill and i go to barra, that we are going through to glasgow the night before. our flight isnt until 09:20 but its just so much less stress if we go and stay at the airport...and, you wont believe it, but i found a hotel with great reviews that is less than £100, including breakfast, and is A 3 MINUTE WALK TO DEPARTURES!!!! hallelulljah!!! get the champagne on ice!
