Well Kenny is now officially “hot stuff” according to Dad. He has 101 radiation seeds in his prostate working hard to restore his health. Charmaine counted out 101 grains of rice (cos that is how big the drs told us they were ) to ascertain the size of them. He is doing really well.
Because we had to see the Drs (today) before we could go away to WA, Kenny got to be in Sydney to see his sister and niece who are here on a visit. We had told them we would not be here. But we hid under the window, and let them discover us ! Was a great surprise !
We then had 4 days with them, which was lovely. Did a Harbour Cruise, lunch in The Rocks at the old Irish Mercantile Pub, The Rocks Market and a trip to the Blue Mountains. They left for Queensland to have a rest !!!
So today we “get the okay” (fingers crossed) from the Drs and we will then leave on Thursday (exactly 4 months after we were supposed to leave) to go to Dubbo to collect our wonderful FunUp and head “west”……
We are soooooooooooooooo grateful to Dad and Charmaine & Phil, who have “put us up” through this whole journey. We also are grateful to Rob & Stacey in Dubbo for looking after our caravan for us while we have been in Sydney.
We will post more often now……. Adventures ahead !!
