This morning we ventured out to Victoria Falls, it was very noisy and Spectacular to see The Mighty Zambezi flowing with such force over the top to the river below. The river is at its highest and strongest now so it is a powerful flow of water. Hopefully we got some good pics. There was an awful lot of mist and we got drenched, after a brief coffee, and wringing out of the shirt we headed off back to camp on foot. By the time We were half way back I was as dry as a bone. We looked into a couple of shops as Mike want to get the Big 5 in wood, knowing what Julie is like about Tat from around the world I will give it a miss. I might treat myself to a small wooden Lion if I see a good one. Standards differ greatly as you can imagine. We have now nipped back for an Ostrich Burger as yesterdays was so nice, before nipping out on our Lion Walk at the Vic Falls site. We bumped in to the Head of Media yesterday and had a good chat about photo courses etc. as we sit here there is a huge thunder storm raging about us. I can imagine the Falls isnt a good place to be at this very minute. Still another thing ticked off the Bucket List!! I am really looking forward to the microlight flight in the morning, we leave camp at 6 for a 0700 pick up the other side of the border in Zambia and then its chocs away. Apparently there is a Digital camera strapped to the frame and the pictures they take are pretty good. As this is the only option we have we will just go for it. Apparently its pretty wet dropping down through the clouds. We are out to the "Bomas " restaurant tonight, the infamous carnivores paradise...TBC...
