8th Apr 2012 - 12th Apr 2012 Koh Phi Phi - Phuket -Singapore Ok I've got to the max for the free pics so will be uploading them all to FB and still need to write my Cairns blog :) so back to Phi Phi where the beach was filmed lol, Over on the ferry me and Sarah went I must have picked the worst sit on there half way on the journey felt something on my leg thought these bloody mossies to find it was a baby cock roach!! lol wasn't the first time it visited me during that journey! Arived at Phi Phi wow it looked beatiful looked forward to chilling not having to work to a schedule just getting up when I want do whatever :) the hotel I picked was really nice the room had pool access it was great! We went for a wonder that night tea on the beach - pizza and a glass of wine nice. We were going to go for a few beverages - but the princs's sister or some relation who died put a stop to that out of respect only the restuarants were able top sell alcohol. Walking round next minute I here my name being called in front of me in Hannah and the other girls from my first tour what are the chances of that! So we arrange to meet the following night. Up early the next day down to the beach we head ahhhhhh and relax I did. Night time came and I we went to the bar that Sarah had wanted to try soon as she spotted it on the map... Hippies Bar. Was pretty cool 2x Sex on the beaches and a live singer what more can you ask for. Came to 10'o'clock and the girls weren't there nevermind they had been on there snorkelling tour all day thought they must have be tied. But know they turned up much to my delight was good seeing them again! Found a live Thai boxing bar was pretty good whilst we had a few buckets :) was a fun night we made friends with a group of lads for New Zealand there friend was one of the lads who was in the ring unfortunately he lost his match well you win some ya loose some. Back on the ferry over to Phuket Town can say I didn't sit in the same place as before and didn't get atacked this time lol and sleep not a word the whole journey. Arrived at the port e ready to go off to the Airport Sarah ready to go for her 2 night at Potong Beach to find ere's been an earthquake in Indonesia and there's red alert for aftershock which could result in a tsanami OMBUDDHA haha. So no taxi driver will take Sarah to the beach so she comes to the Airport instead questioning the taxi driver about the tsanami not really get much out of him bar its meant to happen around 6pm ok we get to the Airport they've shut it down shittttttttt. Adement he's not abandoning us on the side of the road Sarah stays in the taxi whilst I find out whats going on - so we get taken to a nearby hotel where we dumped are bags and are taken by minibus to higher ground so there we are randomly and what I presume was somebodies house loads of people on this hill and a guy from Melbourne and couple from I can't remember. An hour pases and everythings ok suposedly so back down to the hotel so we check in here for the night. Next morning we say our goodbyes Sarah goes off for her night stay at a luxury hotel (looks so nice would have been nice to stay there!) so me to the airport ques out the door my flight has been given a time phew just had to wait for the check in desk to open so got chatting to a retired couple (whats with me and the older generation haha do I just attract them!) they were from Adelaide and then another couple from Brisbane. Short flight then I was lucky as I was able to check in to my next flight even though it was 4pm and wasn't flying til 10.30pm sorted checked the bag in and I was off so managed to go to the place I orginally planned to do. Went to the SIngapore Flyover so got to look over all the city (saw the hotel that looked like a boat check the photo out). A nice walk over the river passing the olympic youth garden and staduim wow a pitch on the was crazy! Arrived at the .............................. pretty cool grabbed a hot dog and strolled back and went to the Ritz Charlton Plaza to see some artworked I researched stroll up to the door blatently not a resident totally looking and probably smelling like a backpacker haha. All this party in cocktail dresses and black dinner gear in the reception area and coaches side ha didn't feel out of place really so sneak in and have a quick wonder and find the piece of artwork pretty cool. The flight was a night one via Darwin I'm pooped now and it the day I must stay awake!!! So checked in to the hostel not too badd! Then it was time to start some well needed clothes washing so here for a week in total time to see what Cairns have to offer. speak soon xxx
