Saltwhistle III: Rach & Tony
Hi, this blog is to chart the sailing adventures of Rachelle and Tony on Saltwhistle III, our Hallberg Rassy 42F. We left our home port of Gosport late June 2011 for the Canary Islands, via Devon and Cornwall, Spain, Portugal and Madeira. In November 2011 we joined the ARC rally of some 200+ boats heading across the Atlantic to St Lucia in the Caribbean. After sailing the Caribbean winter season we headed up to the US via Bermuda in June 2012 to visit Maine before heading south down the eastern seaboard to Florida. At the start of 2013 we had six weeks in Cuba, then headed to the Bahamas before heading back to the Virgin Islands for Bermuda mid year and an OCC rally in the Azores.
