Porsche 911 Carrera 4S or Possibly Ferrari F430: Which Should You Opt For?

If you could choose between the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S o the Ferrari F430, which one would it be? They are the German and Italian conceptions of the performance car idea, and a different sides of the same coin. Each company has in excess of 50 years of racing experience so they have a full understanding of style and engineering. Be it on the raceways of Le Mans or perhaps in the streets, both of these companies have always been in head to head competition. These two companies have always been about design and performance.

Neither or the Ferrari F430, pretend being anything but a performance car. The Porsche is a lot more methodical, while the Ferrari is passionate, but both try to maintain a reasonable amount of practicality, at the same time astonishing with their performance. In today's world, a modern sports car should be practical and reliable enough to drive around town. At the same time, they need to work well on the race track and still be safe. Both of these cars are examples of the modern sports car but we must see how they compare. This seems to be the only way to separate these cars, and choose which one is the most phenomenal.

Considering the exciting exhaust tone, the Ferrari is able to jump from 0-100 km/h in just 4 seconds. From 368 kilowatts, the latest generation of 4.3-liter V8 engine is going to have you pinned to the seat when you step on the gas. You can expect similar acceleration from the Porsche but it comes in at a slightly slower 4.8 seconds. Both of these sports cars have a remarkable braking system to enhance the impressive acceleration. Both the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S and also the Ferrari F430 offer optional ceramic discs which provides the excellent stopping performance. The engine of the Porsche does better on the gas mileage, going 100 km on 11.8 liters as compared to Ferrari at 18.3 liters. Both cars have 6-speed gearboxes and excellent maneuvering performances.

Though both the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S and the Ferrari F430 have limited space, the interior doesn't feel claustrophobic at all. The styling of the Ferrari is quite impressive with suede, aluminum and carbon fiber but cannot compare to the fit and finish of the Porsche. The look and styling of sports cars is a lot more significant than the actual velocity and acceleration. Understandably, in spite of being a nice looking car, the Carrera 4S will not get the same reaction as a Ferrari. Regardless of how fantastic the performance a Porsche has, its styling cannot be compared to a Ferrari F430.

In spite of the better style, the Ferrari lacks the complete package like the Porsche Carrera 4S thus the Porsche is the better choice.
