Hello once again

We left Jabiru last Thursday on our way to WA.  Stocked up on groceries at Katherine and headed west.  We stayed at two free camps along the way and arrived in Kununurra on Sunday 10th.  A special day for Col and I as we celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary.  We celebrated big time with a ginger beer and a pepsi max.  Can't believe that it has been that long.  As they say "that's 2 life sentences".  Anyway, we are still together and growing grayer and grayer together.

We booked into the park here for three nights.  Yesterday we did a bit of exploring around the district.  Took a drive out to Ivanhoie crossing but it was closed to traffic as the water was still too high and rushing too much.  Got some nice photos!

Today we took a day trip up to Wyndham which was about 100 kms from here.  Had a nice day there and took in the local attractions and had lunch at the pub.  Very nice day out.  The Five Rivers Lookout was pretty special.

We hit the road again tomorrow heading across to Halls Creek and Fitzroy Crossing.  Have some free camps planned for the next couple of days.  Hope to get up to Derby at the end of the week and from there willl venture into Broome.

Again, I don't think we will have internet service until we get to Derby and Broome, so until then...
