My last 2 hours in San Jose.... I'm thinking about walking over to the park for a little while, just to get a little more sun and warm on my skin before heading back to Chicago.

I haven't brushed my hair in 3 days. In fact, I don't even know where I put my comb, I don't think I've seen it since Monteverde. No problem, though, I've been washing it and taking showers so it's not like I have dreadlocks. :)

I ditched the toiletries I bought here to lighten my load, hopefully someone can use my leftover shampoo, soap, toothpaste. If not, well... I guess I don't care that much. I also ditched a few thousand of my extra colones by buying the hostel some pastries from the soda/bakery up the street. I had the most delicious breakfast there - eggs, rice and beans, a slice of fried cheese and fried plantains... all for just under $2. it was SO GOOD. I'm a sucker for good rice and beans.

I'm thinking about walking over to the park a block away to get a few extra minutes in the sun, so I'm not going to make this long... I might be able to do another blog from the aeropuerto.

If not, thank you all for reading my blog and leaving messages for me while I've been traveling. It's nice to hear from you all while I'm gone and reminds me of home and why I love it there. :)
