Kuala Lumpar Farewell UK..............AuRevoir John and Marie, we will miss you till we meet again!!! Marie took us to Heathrow where she then left us with John who made sure we caught our plane. I am amazed at how John and Phill can smell a pub from miles away.......after checking in our luggage we went downstairs at Terminal 4 and there was a pub.....no, they did not have beer for breakfast........but we did enjoy the atmosphere and our last English Breakfast for some time!! I have to admit, we have all put on a bit of weight while we have been away.......that song from Oliver comes to mind "Food, glorious food........la, la, la, la,la, la!"........oh, don't you worry........we have loved it. I think our dogs will love the extra walks they are going to get once we are home also!! We had a bumpy but otherwise good flight to Kular Lumpar and arrived early in the morning. I managed to watch 3 movies on the plane, eat two meals and finish the latest book I was reading..........even managed a few hours kip!! Anyhow, we are now in hot and sunny KL. While we awaited our fellow travellers (did I tell you they were on the next flight?) Phillip and I had a wee Nana nap and then explored the hotel, Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside........NICE!! It is rather a large complex by a lake.......(funny that) and they have kayaks for hire, but no swimming is allowed in the lake. We checked out the games room which has foos ball, snooker table, Wii games, scrabble (that will keep Sandra happy) chess, checkers and more. Then it was time for lunch.......yeah should have missed it but.........well.........anyhow then it was off to the swimming pool. Ahh..........relaxing! We read our books and newspapers by the pool.........then we saw Garman's plane go over! Time to get to our room.........freshen up and meet them at the bar! Oh, by the way you should see our room!! We somehow got upgraded and we have a lovely room with a balcony.........glass bathroom with toilet, shower and handbasin...unusual!! AND..............a spa bath at the end of the room in an alcove, sort of protruding out into the courtyard and with 3 windows surrounding it..........Don't turn on the light when in the bath!! and leave the net curtain CLOSED.......in fact draw all the curtains!! Oh, I did enjoy my soak in the tub.........will have to make the most of that while we are here!!
