Friday 5th December 2014

Well another busy day.

I decided to venture out on my own today.
No I was not sure if it was a good idea or not, but I did it any way.
The first stop was a shop we had already came  across, we have been looking for a place to make us a rubber boat stamp.

While sailing all through the pacific we never needed a stamp, but since sailing the Indian Ocean, they have asked for one constantly.
If your wondering what a boat stamp is used for, it's just for all the documents you need to fill in whenever you come in or leave port.

So I find the shop sort it all out triple check the documents, and all is ok they tell me to come back after two.
Then I shopped around found this and that and finally made it back to the boat all in one piece and never once felling threatened.

Now the time slipped away and before I knew it, it was 4pm, they tell you never to walk around at night time but I figured I could get up there in time.
So off I go walking these same streets as before but this time all the shops in the side alleys are closed and there is a mental amount of people in the streets, yeap I was feeling way uncomfortable.
I get to the shop and they have a power fail, so it's not ready.

So off I set to go back and decided to walk a different way back, this way I knew would go past a large supermarket.

Well let me tell you it's a very large walkway, and I soon discovered, what this curved metal structure was near a wall, it's a urinal. OMG comfort zone shattered, serious you can't see their middle section but they actually face you so you know what is happening, but to make matters worse it was overflowing and there was a lady trying to hose it away, it was really hard to dodge the flow, I kept saying to myself it's just water.
I did make it back in one piece, sterilised the feet and all is good.

Oh and we had a surprise visit from two of The Captains friends, Barry and Elsie, they used to be very close friends but the years drifted them apart, so it was nice for The Captain, to finally meet up after 30 odd years.
We had a lovey meal together at the Yacht Club and laughed the night away.

Well tomorrow is another day.
