If you are looking for great food and wonderful, live entertainment this weekend, August 28th, 29th, and 30th, hop in your car and head north to the city of Blue Ash, Ohio, for their annual Taste of Blue Ash. Each year, restaurants throughout Blue Ash and surrounding areas bring their finest to showcase their restaurant to potential customers.If you don't know where you're going, this bar can be a bit difficult to find, but it is well worth it. Opened 4:30 pm till, swing by for a cocktail and some live music or have a pint while watching a Saints game. There are live music performances pretty much nightly, featuring local jazz, blues and up pulled pork and rice coming musicians. As an added bonus, if you're a fan of scotch, they carry a pretty wide selection.Whatever you're in the mood for, it's a great spot to kick back if you're looking to avoid the pretentious.Their hamburgers taste like they were made on the grill at home. They come with fresh toppings like lettuce and tomato. You can even try a chili cheese burger. If you're not in the mood for hamburgers you can try fried chicken or their delicious slow cooker bbq bbq pulled pork bites. They even have hot dogs that are also pretty good. If you still have room after your meal Rush's has delicious soft serve ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, and apple turnovers. This is definitely not your typical fast food fare.With plenty of time on our hands, we decided to split a bottle of Orlandini's White Chambourcin. A white chambourcin is created by removing grape skins during the early part of the wine making process. The result is an almost blush colored wine with all the spicy fruit stylings of a good Chambourcin. We left with two bottles to add to our Illinois wine collection, along with a bottle of Vidal, a semi dry white full of grapefruit flavor.If you slow cooker bbq pulled pork want to be healthy then cut out the alcohol. It is jam packed with carbohydrates (and sugars if you get a fruity alcoholic beverage). You know that soda is a sugary drink that competes with the sugar content of candy. The answer for you is water or diet sodas. You will be getting enough rubbish from your food. You don't need anything more from your drink.One of the best hot spots for burgers in Kingman AZ is Chuy's Mesquite Broiler. If you are driving around town with your window open all you have to do is follow your nose to find the place. The smell of mesquite-fired burgers is maddening if you have not eaten all day. The interior of the restaurant is cheerfully decorated with a surf theme so well done you would swear you were on the beach. Check out the tongue-in-cheek graffiti on the walls. The burgers are hearty and satisfying. Don't be afraid to ask about the draft-on-tap specials.Pour any remaining vegetable-rice mixture into the slow cooker or crockpot. Add the stuffed chops to the bbq pulled pork cooker and moisten the top of each chop with the tomato sauce. Pour the remaining sauce over the tops of the chops. Place lid on cooker and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until done.Village Peddler Festival This family-friendly 2-day event will feature 175 artisans and craftspeople displaying their handmade Traditional, Primitive, Country, Americana and Victorian-style arts & crafts along the shaded paths of the outdoor marketplace.Fred's Texas Cafe, open until midnight while serving up some of the best burgers in Fort Worth. If you are vegetarian, they have a great portobello mushroom burger.
