Sunday 14th September 2014

Day 18

10pm

165nm  to go

Well has anything changed? Nope nothing, it's getting harder to sleep, as it's just way too rough.
We have one side of the mattress in the cockpit here piled so high with extra pillows to try and stop us from falling off.

Actually something did change The Captain saw a ship, on his watch well so he says.

And there has been a lot of rubbish floating past.
It's nothing to see a bit here and there it's mainly all plastic, and often when I bring in my lines there is plastic hooked on the hook.

But yesterday there was a section where I saw a lot of blue and white stuff, all different shapes and always floating just under the water level, am not sure if it's plastic or metal, but it was kinda strange.

I also have to say the Indian Ocean is a lot dirtier than all the rest, as in Rubbish floating by, all the other Oceans we have crossed there is always a bit here and there, but with this Ocean almost every time you look out over it You see something float past.
We always make a point of not throwing anything, plastic overboard, if only the rest of the world would do the same thing.

Well tomorrow is another day.
