Tuesday 11th November 2014

Well today we set to work, the two main reason we came around here was to be able to get the dingy down into the water so we could try and reseal the leaking port holes and also for The Captain to dive under the boat and remove a fitting that we think is blocking the water maker outlet.

Here the water is clear and clean, so it's no problem to jump overboard.

While The Captain got working on the portholes I decided to do a bit more oiling, of the teak work which is a never ending job.

It was so hot and after hours and hours I decided to have a cold shower and a lay down, well I slept the sleep of the dead, I woke about four hours later, The Captain had finished all the portholes and finger crossed it will work, he also was too tried to do the fitting so we decided to get dressed and go over to the local yacht club here.

We had read that they have free wifi so we figured it would be a nice way to spend the late afternoon/ evening having a few drinks and catching up on the net.

We turned on the anchor light just before we left in case it was late when we got back and at least we would be able to find our boat.

So all went to plan we caught up with what we needed to do then back to the dingy, now things got a bit dodgy, it was pitch black, and very hard to find the dingy, that was now almost on dry land, we managed to manoeuvre other boats out of the way and climbed in.
Out we go dodging boats and buoys, but we can't spot our anchor light, great.

We eventually find the boat and yeap the anchor light is not working, I climb on board and make sure the switch is on, yeap, than I try the tri colour it comes on for a minute than clicks off, The Captain has a go as well and it's the same, we try the nav lights and at least they are working so we will get the rest fixed in South Africa, man it just never ends, there is always something not working.

Well tomorrow is another day.
