Thursday 11th December 2014

Well I'm a tad excited today, but also felt very uncomfortable.

Today we had two African ladies clean the topside of the boat, while I dyed my hair and even painted my toe nails, for the first time in years.
The Captain said that I am now truly a South African woman now, I said a true one would be sitting in a hair dressers getting their hair done...haha

Why was I excited well? Well I'm sad, I just love to see our boat clean and sparkling.
These two ladies worked hard all day, they cleaned all the stainless steel, and scrubbed all the decks, also a bit on the outside but it's looking like it needs a polish to bring it up, although we had to buy the cleaners, they did all this for a total of $30 Aus.
I asked one if she would come with us...haha I have never seen the boat sparkling so much they did a fantastic job.

But I have to say I am not used to someone else cleaning the boat and felt very uncomfortable as well, I guess that's my Aussie background were we don't have maids or anything.
Talking about maids we were shopping the other day in a supermarket and the signs above the isles that tells you what is down there, well we look up and there it says cleaners and maids uniforms, I so wanted to take a photo...haha

We have also been getting all the port holes sealed proper this time, what The Captain had done was just a quick seal with silicone in Mauritius, but it did not hold up very well out in the ocean, so yes we sure have had a boat full.

And the best thing Roserio and Elizabeth from Andros came into port today, we have not seen them since a week before we left Mauritius, so we had a small meal and drinks at the club here and caught up in all the latest.

Well tomorrow is another day.
